Welcome to Villa Pinija, our family little holiday home in vicinity of Valbandon beach. Valbandon is a village beside the sea. It has many beautiful beaches, one sandy and many rocky, so there is plenty of scope for surfing, body-boarding, swimming, rock-pooling… There are also walks with magnificent views along the West Istria coastal path, leading to other beaches and coves. The grasslands support many lovely wild flowers and butterflies, and there are large numbers of interesting birds. There are some little shops in the village; supermarket is in Fazana. The fishing town of Fazana lies 1 km to the North - West with its shops, small harbour and good eateries including some famous seafood restaurants. In Valbandon or Fazana you can arrange boat trips and learn to windsurf. Our house is in a quiet area, a 5 minutes walk from the two beaches. It is a small villa, with a small kitchen / dining area fully fitted with electric oven and electric hob, dishwasher and fridge with freezer. There is a washing machine in the bathroom. A huge sofa, which can be extended into a bed for two people and flat screen satellite TV is next to the small kitchen.
